Last week, it looked like Mel Gibson and Robyn Gibson were finding some semblance of peace. Reports indicated that their divorce negotiations were going smoothly, and Robyn even left the country for Oksana Grigorieva’s media blitz. Word was that Mel and Robyn had been meeting secretly at the small church Mel had founded, and had spent some quality time burying the hatchet, for the sake of their kids.

Not so much, as it turns out. The Enquirer is reporting that after a small reconciliation, Robyn “has crafted a startling new plan” to destroy Mel’s soul. ‘Atta girl. Robyn pulled away from making it easy on Mel when she “grew suspicious” of Oksana. Robyn thinks Oksana has a “sketchy past” (duh) and Robyn hired a private investigator to follow Oksana at all times. Robyn truly feels that Oksana is out to get as much money from Mel as possible (dur), and Robyn wants to make sure she and her kids are taken care of first:

Hollywood’s most vicious divorce battle has taken a venomous turn with Mel’s scorned ex putting a private detective on Oksana, and vowing to dismantle his Holy Family Chapel in Agoura Hills, say sources.

According to insiders close to her, Robyn has agreed to a “bifurcated” divorce – a process in which the marriage is terminated quickly, but division of property, alimony, child support or custody arrangements, and determined later.

However, “Robyn is out to get Mel in the end,” says a close family friend. “There’s $1 billion at stake, and Robyn is planning on taking it all, including Mel’s chapel.”

“Her attorneys have finally gotten through to her that the real estate alone the chapel sits on is worth millions. While she’s been a member of the chapel for years, Robyn’s involvement was all because of Mel. She’s not Catholic and she could not care less about Mel’s shrine.”

We recently reported that Robyn and Mel were on good terms and trying to work things out amicably during secret meeting at the chapel. But Robyn made a sudden about-face after she grew increasingly suspicious of Oksana’s motives, and the Gibson children began to resent the Russian pop singer.

“Robyn feels Oksana has a sketchy past, and that she’s using Mel. She also believes Oksana is out to get a big piece of the Gibson family’s financial pie,” the friend divulged. “She’s so furious that she’s hired a private investigator to follow Oksana. She wants as much dirt as possible to give her leverage if a court battle is necessary.”

The seven Gibson children are on their mom’s side, the source said.

“Oksana told Mel that his kids should be separate from their new life together,” claimed the friend. “Oksana wants her own life with Mel, their baby and her 12-year-old son. She’s pushing Mel to put all of his time and money into his new family.”

“But Mel’s kids love him, and they feel he is choosing Oksana and her family over them. At this point, they are against Oksana and think she is after their father’s money and quality time.”

I hate the reference to Oksana as “his new family”. Barf. I mean, obviously, he’s knocked her up and he’s going to try to make a go of it. But let’s not sanctimoniously refer to either an “old” or “new” family. Robyn and Mel have seven children together – and even though I think Mel is a total sleaze, I do think he’ll do right by his kids. He’ll probably do right by Robyn too – she must really have the dirt of him, and it probably scares the hell out of him. All Robyn has to do is sign a book deal or do one sit-down tell-all interview with Barbara Walters, and Mel’s ass and assets are hers.

I just read in a well respected Spanish language magazine that:

* Mel and Robyn have been LEGALLY separated, as in papers filed in court, since 2006.

* Hollywood didn’t tear them apart, and neither did Oksana, “Mel has a lot of demons and no one can put up with that. Robyn tried for almost 30 years, but it was impossible.”

* There is no hatred or animosity between them, they grew apart and realized that they wanted different things in life.

* Mel only met Oksana in 2007-2008 and Robyn has known about them all along. She didn’t go public about knowing about their relationship because it was a private, family situation and there was no need, until the pics came out.

* She only filed for divorce because the paparazzi pics came out and she wanted to make it clear that she and Mel were not together and Mel was not cheating on her behind her back.

* She knew full well that Mel took Oksana on vacation in Costa Rica.

* The timing of when the divorce papers were filed had nothing to do with Robyn. Her lawyer files the divorce papers and didn’t realize it was Tommy’s birthday. Also, her lawyer is Laura Wasser, who is Jewish, and didn’t think about the significance of filing papers during Holy Week/Easter. None of it was some masterplan by Robyn.

So, ladies and gentlemen, believe it, don’t believe it, but there you have it. It makes sense to me. I know we’d all like to think that Robyn is the scorned woman, but I think we all feel more scorned than she does.

Mel Gibson’s Russian girlfriend may be pregnant, or so The National Enquirer (story via Showbiz Spy) is reporting. By the way, are we calling Oksana Grigorieva Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, or his “girlfriend”? I’m asking because I tend to think she’s his “girlfriend”. Something about the eyes… she has the look of a woman who loves money, and Mel has the look of a man with equal parts money and insanity. If Oksana’s pregnant, she’s going to call the little one “$500 million divorce settlement”.

This story isn’t only about the rumored baby – apparently Mel’s oldest sons, Edward and Christian, have hired an attorney to protect the trust funds their parents set up. Ah, it seems Edward and Christian have noticed the look in Oksana’s eyes as well. Perhaps they’re referring to their soon-to-be half-sibling as “over my trust fund’s dead body”.

Gross. So Mel told his family about the bundle of joy about two weeks ago – and they’re saying Oksana’s “about three months gone”. Interesting. So she got pregnant (allegedly) the beginning of February, give or take a week. But Mel’s wife Robyn didn’t file for divorce until April 13th. So, Oksana was married Mel’s mistress when she got pregnant, according to this story. Well, she certainly works fast.

As far as the money stuff, I think it would really depend on how Mel and Robyn set up their children’s trusts. Is it one large trust that is simply for Mel’s heirs? If it is, another child might mean less inheritance. But, if the trusts are set up as I suspect, there are multiple trusts individually assigned to each of Mel and Robyn’s children, and Robyn will likely fight to retain the trusts as-is within the divorce proceedings. So, basically, any children that Mel has beyond the seven kids he has with Robyn will be getting their inheritance from Mel’s half of the divorce settlement. Haha, sucker.

Mel Gibson turned local hero for Malibu, California shoppers and paparazzi at the weekend when he struck a deal with photographers to leave him in peace as he bought groceries

Noticing how flashbulbs and paparazzi attention on him was upsetting locals at a Malibu mart, Gibson stepped outside the convenience store where he was buying essentials to ask snappers to give him a break.

He said, “You’re bothering the people inside the store. I’ll just come back and give you a shot so you can stop bothering the people inside the store.”

And he kept his word – after checking out, the Braveheart star chatted with snappers and gave photographers the thumbs up.

Interest in Gibson has tripled of late after his wife Robyn filed for divorce from the actor/director last month.

I meant to post this yesterday, but completely slipped my mind. Here’s a message written on IMDb by someone claiming to know the Gibsons. Thanks to a lovely member at Mel Minders for sharing it!

Here’s the real story folks(family source)…

In late 80s Mel was a wreck – a drunk with a bad temper and Robyn gave him a choice – clean up or I will leave you.

Mel cleaned up and things got better. There were couple laspes in 90s and early 2000s but everytime that happened Mel was open with Robyn and got help and got better.

Then in 05 he began drinking again but this time kept it from Robyn. Things got worse and we know what happen with DUI arrest.

After than Robyn said she was through with Mel. So even though they lived in the same house and attend family functions they were living separate lives.

Then Mel meet someone and fell in love. And once the picture of her and Mel at the beach went public Robyn couldn’t pretend anymore and she filed. It’s one thing to stay together and no ones no the wiser but it’s a differnet story when it’s splashed on the news – she was humilated.

Even though the divorce is in motion and Mel has gone public with his gf Robyn still loves him and would take him back he was willing to change. And I wouldn’t be shocked if Mel comes back with Robyn. But this my opinion from knowing them and the family.

But Robyn and Mel have always fought and it’s hard has people know – Robyn got pregnant and that’s why the decide to get married – there not an ideal personality match.

It was calculated and cheap: Mel Gibson posing hand-in-hand with new love Oksana Grigorieva on the red carpet.

Apparently he considered it OK to step out with his girlfriend two weeks after his wife, Robyn, filed for divorce because he has been secretly single for almost three years.

But here is the problem I have with that: Gibson has boasted of his traditional Catholic beliefs and publicly acknowledged that in his mind the sacrament of marriage is indissoluble.

This man has rammed his strict religious beliefs and family morals down our throats for years. His actions at the premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine were a slap in the face.

His marriage is being dissolved because of his infidelity. That makes Gibson a hypocrite.

Robyn Moore, his wife of 28 years, filed for divorce in Los Angeles.

Remarkably, it was not because Gibson had said that as an Episcopalian she was ineligible for entry into heaven. Unlike him.

The final straw was hearing Ms Grigorieva, 39, say she is pregnant and living in one of the Gibson family’s Californian mansions.

So Robyn, 53, put an end to the charade of a happy marriage to satisfy her strict Catholic husband.

Is that why Gibson hit back by showing off his younger model at such a public event?
