Mel Gibson’s Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has excitedly revealed that the baby she is expecting with the Hollywood star is a girl. The news has thrilled Mel, 53, who already has seven children.

“Oksana and Mel are over the moon,” says a friend. “Oksana is very happy and in love with Mel. She’s a very calming girl and will be a stabilizing influence on him.”

Mel and Oksana, 39, stepped out as a couple just two weeks after his wife Robyn, 52, filed for divorce in April.

Mel and Robyn Gibson say they have irreconcilable differences, but not when it comes to keeping their finances private.

We’ve learned both Mel and Robyn filed a joint request — essentially asking the judge in their divorce case to keep info about their finances private. The judge saw it their way and signed the order on Friday.

According to the order, neither party (and that includes their lawyers) is allowed to disclose any information revealed in the discovery process. That means all of the financial documents that have been requested to establish the value of the Gibsons’ estate can’t be released directly or indirectly to the media.

As we first reported, the lion’s share of the estate is real property — houses and what not. We’re told the total value is less than the $900,000,000 previously reported — but it’s still a fortune.

Last week it was reported that Mel Gibson scolded his flock at the Holy Family Church in Agoura, just north of Malibu.

The article was originated from Radar Online – which claimed their source was in the church and witnessed the event.

Monsters and Critics’ Los Angeles office is located five minutes from the Holy Family Church, in Malibu Canyon, and we were contacted directly by a parishioner who wished to speak out anonymously.

She gave us this statement:

I have read several of these articles about Mel Gibson’s supposed ‘crazed rant.’

I am a long time parishioner at Mel’s Holy Family Chapel and I was there on Sunday when this happened. I don’t know who the source was for this, but I have an idea, since there was a lady there that day who was not a parishioner and obviously was there just for Mel… who, after mass, he asked her to leave… so I suspect this lady was upset and decided to completely exaggerate his announcement to make him look crazy. But I could be wrong about that, perhaps it was someone else… I don’t know.

What I do know is this:

The source is quoted as saying, ‘It was a crazed rant. He paced back and forth, furiously telling the congregation including two priests and a visiting bishop, that he would not stand by and be judged and scrutinized.’

“He tried to intimidate the parishioners by staring at everyone with his angry eyes.”

First of all, it was not ‘crazed.’ He calmly walked up to the altar after mass finished and simply asked for everyone not to gossip about his personal affairs. He did not ‘pace back and forth’, he calmly stood in one spot; He did not ‘furiously tell the congregation’ etc. He was a little frustrated maybe, as would be understandable, but definitely not ‘furious’ and did not stare at everyone with ‘angry eyes.’

And the two priests and bishop had already processed out to the back room (the sacristy) by the time he made his announcement.

Neither did he threaten to ’shut down’ the church if people kept gossiping about him. What he did say, is that if he continues to see gossip about him in the media… that is, information that could only come from people who are at the church… he would make the church ‘by invitation only’ – not ’shut it down.’

This is also understandable since we constantly get people coming to the church simply to try to talk to Mel about business matters or to gain information to gossip about or anything other than simply coming to worship God. It is his place after all, and it is only through his generosity that he allows us all to attend mass there.

And about ‘Mel hasn’t been practicing what he preaches’ .. gossip is also viewed as a serious sin in the Church.

So if this source considers him or herself as a Catholic, he/she is not exercising their faith either, and neither is anyone else who considers themselves Catholic… so it is a completely acceptable thing to ask parishioners not to gossip.

The bottom line is, whoever the source was they completely exaggerated the situation and turned into something it was not.

Amen to that.

An article with a little more detail than the previous, I suppose…

It seems Mel Gibson only trusts pregnant girlfriend Oksana as far as he can throw her. Mel has been harangued by his adult children and his soon-to-be ex-wife into demanding a DNA test on the child Oksana is carrying. According to the National Enquirer, the kids want to make sure that Oksana’s baby is “a rightful heir to his fortune.” Except I read that as “a rightful heir to the Crazy throne.” Mel’s kids aren’t the only ones worried – apparently, he’s been getting crap from the people at his church, too. It seems the general consensus for everyone around Mel is that Oksana is a gold-digger who got pregnant to get a nice slice of Mel’s fortune. Shocking!

So who else could have fathered this baby? The best hunch the Enquirer can come up with is Oksana’s ex-boyfriend, music producer David Foster. But who really thinks Oksana would have stupid enough to get pregnant with someone else‘s baby? She took one look at Mel and saw the crazy cash register:

Dad-to-be Mel Gibson is asking his pregnant girlfriend to agree to a paternity test on their baby to determine if he’s really the father!

[Mel] agreed to seek a DNA test after his grown children and close friends persuaded him to make sure the baby is a rightful heir to his fortune.

“Mel really loves Oksana, but he’s a businessman, too. He really had no choice but to ask for a DNA test,” a source close [Mel] told the Enquirer.

[Mel] made the decision after speaking with friends and with the grown children he had with his estranged wife Robyn, the source divulged.

“Some of Mel’s closest friends in his church convinced him that it’s the practical thing to do. There’s just too much at stake,” the insider said.

“Mel doesn’t believe that Oksana has been with anyone else, but after hearing misgivings from his children and friends, he decided he had no choice. Oksana wasn’t happy about it, but once her baby is born, there will be a paternity test.”

[The] April 13 divorce suit filed by Gibson’s long-suffering wife Robyn has set the stage for a bitter battle over his billion-dollar fortune.

Sources say Mel has been hearing rumors about the possibility that [Oksana had] been seeing her ex, award-winning music-producer David Foster. But there’s no evidence that her baby is anybody’s but Mel’s.

“Mel was sick and tired of the questions about Oksana’s loyalty, but it finally got to him,” adds the source. “He didn’t want to bring up the subject of a DNA test to her, but he realized he had no choice.”

His kids have pressured Gibson to take a paternity test, insisting that he get physical proof that the child is really his, confides the source.

“Some members of Mel’s family believe Oksana is a gold digger,” an insider adds. “It’s hard for Mel to hear that. He says he’s agreed to the DNA test not for himself, but for his family.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, June 15 2009]

For Oksana, it’s not all pain, suffering, mistrust, dirty deeds and dealing with Mel’s nasty, drunken self. According to a separate report form In Touch, Mel is already making sure that Oksana, her 11-year-old son and the baby will be taken care of no matter what. In Touch has Mel buying Oksana a $2.4 million home in Sherman Oaks, California. It’s not exactly Mel’s extensive multi-million dollar spread in Malibu, but it’s not too shabby:

Mel Gibson [bought Oksana] and her 11-year-old son, Alexander, a charming $2.4 million love nest. The 3,468-square-foot home in Sherman Oaks, CA has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, plus indoor and outdoor fireplaces and fountains in the backyard.

“It’s a beautiful place,” says one observer.

Despite the house, a rep for the actor denied a Chicago Sun-Times report that Mel will also pay Oksana “$10 million once the child is born later this year, $40,000 a month in child support and pay for all educational expenses through college.”

[From In Touch, print edition, June 15 2009]

Yes, Mel denied that payment plan that the Chicago Sun-Times reported – because Mel is waiting for the DNA test to come in. Once it’s established that it’s Mel’s baby (I’m sure it is), the payment system will be back on, I’m positive. It’s almost enough to make me wish I had a rich sugar daddy. How rich is Gerard Butler these days?

Is anyone really interested in the story of Mel Gibson’s affair with a much younger Russian model? The one that ended his marriage of about a kabillion years? Of course we all know that the mistress Oksana is preggers and now it’s coming out that Mel wants a DNA test. Of course,it seems like an obvious step when people claim to have some sort of hold on a celebrity’s fortune but the weird part is that, according to the National Enquirer, Mel didn’t come to the realization that he might want to get some medical verification all on his own but he needed his friends to tell him to do it. From the National Enquirer,

“Dad-to-be Mel Gibson is asking his pregnant GF Oksana to agree to a paternity test on their baby to determine if he’s really the father!

The Enquirer has learned the Apocalypto billionaire agreed to seek a DNA test after his grown children and close friends persuaded him to make sure the baby is a rightful heir to his fortune.

“Mel loves Oksana, but he’s a businessman, too. He really had no choice but to ask for a DNA test,” a source close to the 53-year-old actor told The Enquirer.

The Oscar-winning actor made the decision after speaking with friends and with the grown children he had with his estranged wife Robyn, the source divulged.

“Some of Mel’s closest friends in his church convinced him that it’s the practical thing to do. There’s just too much at stake,” the insider said.”

So if someone is just making up the part that Mel needed to be told to make such a common-sense move, why? Is it all just to make Mel Gibson look even stupider than he already makes himself look? Well maybe but I don’t think he really needs a whole lot of help in that area.

Mel Gibson’s pregnant girlfriend is suing her former manager for hawking pictures and musical recordings of her without her permission.

Oksana Grigorieva, who’s in her second trimester with Mel Gibson’s baby, is suing Sammy Oriti claiming he bamboozled her into believing he was an experienced producer.

She claims in 2005, she recorded four demos of original music. The lawsuit alleges Oriti is out making money off of her voice on the Internet and elsewhere.

She also says she had racy lingerie photos taken for the record, and he’s making money off them too.

Mel Gibson’s divorce is rolling along, but we’re told it ain’t gonna be as simple as a clean 50/50 split.

First of all, it looks like Mel’s reported wealth — $900,000,000 — is inflated. The business people are still figuring it out, but a huge portion of his net worth is tied up in real estate. As one source put it, relative to his wealth, there’s not a lot of cash involved.

That’s not to say Mel and Robyn are living on a budget. They have millions in the bank … we’re told Mel is pulling in about $17 million on his latest movie project.

Now here’s where it gets complicated. Some of the real estate is being held in trust for their children. As for the rest of the real estate, it’s not a good time to sell, but we’re told they will most likely have to liquidate the lion’s share of these assets for their property settlement.

Even in tough times, some things never change. So workmen were busy on Wednesday unloading a Gatsbyesque armada of vintage cars for this weekend’s Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, a show of classic yachts and automobiles from makers like Rolls-Royce, Pierce-Arrow, Lagonda and Cord.

But, alas, in tough times some things do change. So just as harried home sellers elsewhere are deciding to drop prices in the face of the real estate meltdown, some in Greenwich are, too.

The difference is that given stratospheric starting prices for houses the size of mega-malls the adjustments tend to be a little more drastic than that of your neighbor who dropped his asking price from $599,000 to $559,000. Instead, in Greenwich, we’re no doubt seeing some of the biggest price drops in the history of residential real estate.

Take for instance the modest spread on Old Mill Road, billed as “an Elizabethan-inspired Tudor manse of museum-quality details” with pool, tennis court, greenhouse, stable and grazing sheep on 75-plus pastoral acres.

The owner, Mel Gibson — that Mel Gibson — might have preferred to sell in a better market, but with a messy divorce pending, this is the only one he’s got. So the house, originally listed for $39.5 million, after two nearly $5 million whacks is now down to $29.75 million.

Even in Greenwich a $10 million drop in the asking price of a house counts as real money. But the Gibson house is hardly alone. The champ here — and maybe anywhere — is the 40-acre, high-plateau estate on Round Hill Road that had been owned by Leona Helmsley. The 21,897-square-foot house went on the market a year ago for $125 million. The price got knocked down by $30 million in October and by another $20 million in March, which is a $50 million price cut in a year.

The ex-husband of Mel Gibson’s pregnant lover Oksana Grigorieva has been left so scarred by the five months he was her husband, he’d prefer to pretend they were never married.

British graphic designer Nicholas Rowland wed the Russian beauty in 1992. He is almost 20 years older than her.

And when U.S. tabloid the Globe tried to track him down to ask him for his thoughts about his ex’s romance with Gibson and comments about his brief marriage, he said, “It’s a period of my life that I would rather forget.”

Asked what his former wife was like, bitter Rowland growled, “You should ask all the other men – there were enough of them!”

Grigorieva, now 39, is expecting Gibson’s eighth child.

Deja vu. Did I post another article like this before? LOL

article_people04Mel Gibson has asked his fellow parishioners at the Holy Family Chapel in Agoura Hills, Calif., not to gossip about him, and recently hasn’t been taking Communion.

Recent headlines about the end of his marriage to Robyn Moore, 53, the mother of his seven children, and Gibson’s relationship with 39-year-old Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva – who is pregnant with his child – have inevitably raised questions about how the devout star’s faith will mesh with his private life. For answers, People turned to experts in traditionalist Catholicism, the breakaway group from mainstream Roman Catholicism to which Gibson, 53, has long adhered:

Can Gibson take Communion?
A traditionalist Catholic who is married to one woman but is conducting a romance with another is considered an adulterer, and in violation of one of the Ten Commandments. Until he turns away from that violation by ending the offending activity, and confessing his sin, he would remain ineligible for Communion.

“It would be heartbreaking for Gibson,” says a traditionalist Catholic priest who has celebrated Mass at Gibson’s chapel but prefers not to be named. “We have sympathy for a person in that situation.”

Can Gibson annul his marriage?
The Catholic Church grants many annulments. Previously, an annulment was allowed when a marriage was not consummated, when it was forced on one of the parties or when the vows were judged illegitimate for reasons such as mental illness. Today, church tribunals are more lenient and help find ways to keep divorced Catholics hoping to remarry in the fold. But Gibson, who was married in the mainstream Catholic church, has another problem to contend with. He would have to apply to an authority, the Vatican, that doesn’t recognize his own congregation. That would make for an awkward request, experts say, but the official church might still decide to consider it.

Can Gibson re-marry in a non-Catholic church?
Perhaps, but his own congregation would not likely recognize it as legitimate

Can Gibson marry a non-Catholic?
Yes. Before he married, he would need a dispensation from a Catholic bishop to marry someone outside his church. These are often granted.

Can the child of an unmarried couple be baptized in the traditionalist Catholic Church?
A child is not considered at fault for the circumstances of his or her birth. The child could be baptized and brought up in the church.
